Wella ProfessionalsPerm Neutraliser (to be used as 2nd step for curling)

Perform perm service provides long-lasting curls with soft and touchable hairfeel. The alkaline perming lotion features three variants, suitable for all curling and waving techniques. Salon exclusive.

PERFORM PERM LOTION

Perm lotion variants:

N – For natural hair

C – For coloured hair

S – For sensitised hair and highlighted hair up to 30%

Not recommended for bleached hair or hair that is more than 30% highlighted, extremely porous or damaged.

It is recommended to perform a strand test before the service.

PREPARATION:

Shampoo the hair and towel dry. Use Perm Pre-treatment on sensitised areas of the hair.

WINDING:

Wind the hair using rollers of the desired size and secure with end papers.

PERM LOTION APPLICATION:

Ensure both you and your client are sufficiently protected. Wear gloves. Apply the product 2–3 times to each roller, starting from the nape and working towards the front. Remove any excess or dripping perm lotion using a paper towel.

DEVELOPMENT TIME:

Choose the development time according to the hair structure and selected variant. Do not cover the hair with a plastic cap. Determine the final development time by taking test curls from different areas of the head.

With Climazon:

N – 10–17 minutes

C – 8–12 minutes

S – 5–10 minutes

Without Heat:

N – 15–20 minutes

C – 10–15 minutes

S – 7–12 minutes

RINSING:

Once development is complete, rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water for approximately 3 minutes. Blot dry with a paper towel to remove excess water.

NEUTRALISING:

Perform+ Perm Neutraliser is ready to use and must not be diluted. Shake well before use. Pour 100 ml of product into a bowl and apply using a sponge or an application bottle. First apply two‑thirds of the Neutraliser to the rods and allow to develop for 5 minutes. Remove the rollers, apply the remaining Neutraliser and allow to develop for a further 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

POST TREA™ENT:

Apply Post treatment or conditioner, leave on for 3–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Style as desired.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR CLIENT:

The client should not tie their hair or use hairpins, clips or ponytails until the next wash.
