Meet Wella Care and Colour Expert Christopher Rea
Christopher is the Senior Global Education Manager at Wella Professionals, overseeing many exciting projects at our headquarters in Switzerland. He is also the global lead for Wella Color Expert, the highest level of color certification from Wella Professionals.
During his varied career, Christopher worked with multiple brands and salon groups before deciding to become an independent hairdresser. This change in his career enabled him to travel internationally as a session stylist working on photographic campaigns, fashion weeks, and television. But it was his passion for education that brought him to Wella.
In his current role, Christopher continues to collaborate with Research & Development and Marketing teams to develop new products & create innovative ways to work with the Wella Professionals portfolio – from leading global trend collections to creating engaging education curriculum for both online and in-studio seminars.
When asked what he loves about his career with Wella, Christopher said:
“It’s the dream job I didn’t even know existed… No two days are the same, from directing shoots and leading global events to testing new products and collaborating with inspirational hairdressers. The job is extremely demanding, but I try to stay focused on one goal: to make hairdressers’ life in the salon easier and more exciting with the best products, techniques and services.”
